With a thorough understanding of En-Roads and C-Roads, online simulators designed to analyze and address climate change challenges, I possess the necessary expertise to present workshops effectively. My proficiency in utilizing these resources equips me to guide participants through workshops, facilitating in-depth discussions towards sustainable climate action. Workshops are appropriate for learners age 12 and older.
Climate Change Resources
My journey into the realm of climate change education traces back to my early years, where my fascination with geology laid the foundation. Growing up, I was immersed in discussions about energy choices and their implications, driven by my father's nuclear engineering career. This upbringing kindled a passion for understanding the interplay between our energy choices and the environment.
As a dedicated educator, I have integrated discussions on climate change into my curriculum, driven by the belief that understanding this pressing issue is essential for future generations. Even when not mandated by state standards, I have made it a priority to empower my students with the knowledge and awareness needed to navigate our changing world responsibly.
